During this unprecedented time, our pharmacy team is expected to be under enormous strain and pressure. We will be doing our utmost to ensure a continuity of services but there will likely be some disruption. Please be assured that we are doing everything we can, as safely as we can, to minimise the impact on the community.

Please help us by adhering to the following:

Ordering your medication early. All Chesham Surgeries are allowing ordering TWO WEEKS before items are due; please make use of this leeway.
Allowing *AT LEAST* THREE WORKING DAYS before collecting your prescription. Attending the pharmacy before this time disrupts our service and it is likely that your prescription WILL NOT be ready before this time.
Checking stock of medication regularly. Make sure you, your loved ones and any vulnerable patients you are able to help, have everything they need for at least four weeks.
If you are self-isolating, please DO NOT visit the pharmacy. If you are able to, please ask a relative, a neighbour or a friend to collect your prescription on your behalf and deliver it to you. They should leave your medication on your doorstep, distance themselves by at least 2 meters and inform you when they have done so.
If you do require delivery, please note that at our current capacity, we are only delivering to patients who over 70 years old, those that are housebound OR those self-isolating AND are unable to find someone to collect their medication. Deliveries are likely to take a minimum of FIVE days from the day requested so please make sure you order well in advance.

Community Pharmacy, like much of the NHS, is likely to be overwhelmed in the coming weeks. PLEASE HELP US TO HELP YOU by complying with the information above, doing so will greatly help to ease the pressure on our teams who are working tirelessly to keep our services running.

As your local community pharmacy, we can offer a wide range of services and facilities for you and your family. We are located within the depths of the newly built Chess Medical Centre in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Offering a variety of services from dispensing, repeat dispensing and monthly doset trays to stop smoking, medicine disposal and much more. The pharmacist and our trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments, in private if required. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on leading a healthy diet.

In addition to all this, you can even make an appointment with our pharmacist to discuss how you are getting on with your regular medicines. Our staff work extremely hard to provide the best customer service and duty of care.
